 Prerequisites:

CST 106 or previous Internet experience.

 

 

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to introduce you to HTML and its use in web pages. You will get hands-on experience creating simple web with HTML, graphics and hyperlinks.

 

 

Internet Access:

The computers on the main campus in the library, K-wing, or any computer with an Internet connection, can be used to complete your assignments.

 

 

Assignments:

Assignments will be given weekly. All assignments will be in the form of web pages, posted online, with e-mail notification to me. If it is not online, it will not be accepted. Late assignments will accepted with 5 points being deducted for each week late. No late assignments will be accepted during the last week of the class.

 

 

 

Your work is very important in your learning process. Open lab is available in the LLIC. Completed assignments will be mailed to me along with the correct information. Keep all graded work until the end of the semester. Assignments will be worth a varied number of points and can be viewed on the course assignment pageAll messages will have the appropriate SUBJECT line: class, section number and lab number. Discussions

Discussion will be posted weekly. Each Discussion will be worth 15 points and can be viewed on the Educator Discussion page.

 

 

Final Project:

Only a comprehensive final project will be given.  

Withdrawal:


To receive a withdrawal grade, the student should fill out the proper forms at the Registration Center. Failure to attend class is NOT withdrawal. However, the instructor reserves the right to withdraw any student from the course due to poor attendance or lack of prerequisite skills. The deadlines for withdrawal are:
