Keynote PresentationsMorning Keyonte - Linda BraddyClosing Keynote - Vilma Mesa Presentation: Critical Mass (Full Version) - Linda Braddy Presentation: Investigations on Instruction and Teaching - Vilma Mesa In addition to our Friday AMATYC traveling workshop on Inquiry-Based Learning and social activities, and our Saturday lineup of entertaining talks and panels, we are proud to welcome Dr. Linda Braddy of Tarrant County College and Dr. Vilma Mesa of the University of Michigan, to deliver our opening and closing keynotes. Linda Braddy is Vice President for Academic Affairs at Tarrant County College (TCC) Northeast Campus. She previously served as Deputy Executive Director of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) in Washington, D.C. (2012-2016). Vilma Mesa is Associate Professor of Education at the University of Michigan. She investigates the role that resources play in developing teaching expertise in undergraduate mathematics. |
