| Title: Exploring Inquiry-Based Learning | |
| Abstract: The goal of this workshop will be to explore inquiry-based learning (IBL) in the mathematics classroom, with particular emphasis on the group work model of IBL using the Discovering the Art of Mathematics (DoAM) course materials. We will intersperse active engagement with DoAM classroom materials with group discussions of the important components of creating the classroom environment that supports students actively engaging in deep and meaningful mathematics. | |
