Abstract:
With Knewton, every student gets a more personal leraning experience. Teachers, schools,
and education companies around the world use Knewton to power digital course materials
that dynamically adapt to each student's unique needs. Knewton provides students with
tailored recommendations for exactly what to study, teachers with analytics to better
support each student, and publishers iwth content insights to develop more effective
digital products.

Biographical:
Bacari K. Brown stared his career iwth Pearson Education where he held multiple roles
in sales and product development. After nearly 10 years with Pearson, Bacari took on the
challenge of helping to re-brand Cengage Learning (formerly Thompson Learning). For 4
years, Bacari worked with the Institutional Partnerships teams on strategic initiatives
and innovative product models. In January of 2016, Jose Ferrara, founder of Knewton,
hand-picked Bacari to become the first member of the Institutional Partnerships team at
Knewton, to help raise awarenes for their new Direct to Institution Course Solutions.
