Bay City Arts and Culture

Bay City is becoming an art and cultural capital of Michigan. Its streets are lined with historical buildings and landmarks, most of which have been restored to their original glory and enjoy new lives as unique retail shops or condominiums. Downtown is home to several art galleries with continually rotating displays of artwork from local and regional artists, and the Antique Center is Michigan’s largest. Other points of interest include the State Theatre, the World Friendship Shell Outdoor Musical Auditorium in Wenona Park, the Delta College Planetarium and Learning Center, as well as several other museums and theatres, and plenty of specialty shops and restaurants. Bay City is a great place to spend an afternoon or a whole weekend with the entire family.
