Add animated GIFs to your web page

1.Go to The Animation Factory It has a lot of free animated GIFs.

2.Click on the Animated GIFs link.

3.Pick a category on the left and click on the link. You will then see an animated gif.

4.When you find an image you like, right-click on it.

5.Select "Save Image As." from the menu that appears.

Remember where you save the image and what its name is! I recommend saving to a 3.5" disk or a USB device, if you are at Delta.

6.Add the <IMG SRC> tag with the animated GIF filename somewhere in the body of your images.html file.

7.Open up your FTP program reload your images.html file and the GIF file to student.delta.edu.

8.Return to Internet Explorer or Netscape

9.Reload your web page. Does your animation work?

10. Print and turn-in for lab credit the final images.html webpage and its source code.
